PROBLEM
Operating system is installed on a computer by deployment software. The default layout is AZERTY. The keyboard layout is OK in Windows after changing the layout at Control Panel / Regional Settings to US (QWERTY), but at the logon screen it is still AZERTY layout.
SOLUTION
- Click on Start / Run and type Regedit
HKEY_CURRENT_USER / Keyboard Layout / Preload
- Change the value of key 1 in 00000409
HKEY_USER / .DEFAULT / Keyboard Layout / Preload
- Change the value of key 1 in 00000409
