BlackBerry problem: emails are not always deleted on device after deleting in Outlook


PROBLEM:
BlackBerry problem: emails are not always deleted on device after deleting in Outlook

POSSIBLE SOLUTION:
The BlackBerry needs to see items are moved to Deleted Items folder. If a user does a permanent delete (by for example holding the SHIFT key while deleting) or immidiately deleting the emails is the Deleted Items folder, then the emails will remain on the BlackBerry.

This behaviour can be solved by setting the Hard Delete Reconciliation on TRUE on the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

Go to the BlackBerry Administration Service: BlackBerry Solution topology / BlackBerry Domain / Server view / server / server_EMAIL /

then click on the tab Messaging

then click on Edit instance

change the value of Hard Delete Reconciliation from FALSE to TRUE
