After installing all drivers on your HP computer, you still have an unknown PCI Serial Port in the Device Manager.

Go to the PCI Vendor and Device Lists website and there you can do a Vendor search on 8086 to disover that this is an Intel device.
Next you can click to see all listed Intel devices. Search in the list for 2e17 and you will find that this is a Intel AMT LMS_SOL for AMT 3.xx and there is a suggestion that this is SoftPAQ SP41283
