You have connected a Canon EOS 350D to a Windows 7 computer and you have problems downloading the pictures. You see a camera in the device manager, but it has a conflict.
SOLUTION
Change a setting on camera: USB connection mode from "PC" to "Print/PTP" in the camera settings menu. After that it works with Windows 7 without drivers.
