Founded in December of 2004, Geosemble Technologies is a spin-off from the University of Southern California (USC). Geosemble’s founders were faculty members in Computer Science when they developed the company’s core Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms. Since that time, the technology has been strengthened and refined to apply to a range of commercial and government user needs focused on automatically integrating information into satellite and aerial imagery and maps.
Key development funding has come from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), the National Science Foundation (NSF), the U.S. Air Force, and other U.S. Government agencies. Geosemble has numerous patents pending in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Geospatial Data Fusion.
